BRIJ Medical Inc. is looking for Independent Sales Representatives to join our team and help lead the sales and marketing of our groundbreaking Brijjits, a patented Force Modulating Tissue Bridge. Brijjits are a new class of medical device, which provides wound support, wound closure and scar therapy. Focused on patient outcomes first, the Brijjit devices are changing the way surgeons approach wound care by using our patented, non-invasive technology to support wound closure.
If you have been a distributor for medical devices and have a strong network with orthopedic and/or plastic surgeons and acute care decision makers in your region, let’s connect! Partnering with the BRIJ team, our Independent Sales Representatives will be trained to promote and sell our medical products to surgery centers, hospital systems and/or private practices. You will have the freedom to manage your own schedule and income potential but also work with a fun, innovative, hard-working team at BRIJ which is building a community around our independent representatives and providing support for ongoing success.
BRIJ Medical Overview
BRIJ Medical Inc is emerging in the marketplace with its innovative medical devices, the BP-100 and the BP-75, which are considered breakthrough technology for wound support, wound closure and scar therapy. Job Description:
This role is perfect for the entrepreneurial salesperson who is focused on high growth within their territory and understands how critical the final wound closure is in the OR. Reducing wound complications, positively impacting scar therapy and overall cost savings to the surgeon or hospital system are just a few of the outcomes Brijjit brings to its customers. This is a contract position (1099) where you will benefit from the support of the BRIJ Medical sales and marketing team to drive your success with your customers.
Responsibilities of the Role Include:
- Become an expert on BRIJ Medical Inc.’s devices through training programs and independent study to address inquiries from plastic surgeons or surgical staff.
- Ability to identify strategic growth opportunities, influence the end user and maintain strong relationships with key surgeon users, surgery centers and hospitals
- Prospect for new business by identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, and cold calling
- Partner with orthopedic and/or plastic surgeons to elevate their practice and educate them on the benefits of the Brijjit technology.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our medical products
- Perform required case coverage and in-servicing
- Have fun, drive a new exciting product into your customer base and be connected to this innovative technology which is literally improving patient’s lives every day.
Requirements Include:
- Sales experience within the medical device and healthcare industry.
- Experience navigating surgery centers and/or hospital systems procurement process
- Understand the etiquette of the OR and the wound closure process, including familiarity with the key principles of relieving the tension of the wound, overall wound support and implications for scar therapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build rapport with healthcare professionals
- In-depth knowledge of BRIJ Medical products and services, with the ability to articulate their value proposition
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve sales targets
- Culture alignment with the broader BRIJ Medical team, which is built on focused feedback, patient outcomes, innovation, a ‘built it” attitude and ready to have fun along the way.
Compensation
This is a Contractor (1099) position and is commission only based on your sales.
