When Dr. Eaves noticed that his plastic surgery patients were frequently more concerned about scarring (as a byproduct of wound breakdown) than the surgery itself, he embarked on a mission to find a solution to ease tension during wound closure.
After assembling a team of top scientists, engineers, and innovators, the first Brijjit BP100 was created.
Today we are proud to share that the Brijjit devices are used across Plastics, Orthopedics and ER/Urgent Care cases to treat post-surgical and trauma incision care — from closure, to wound support and scar therapy.

Testimonials
The more we use it, the more we want to use it.
— Dr. Brad Colobrace
It’s easy for my staff and they know to ask me at the end of the case if I want Brijjit. We keep a minimum of two boxes in the OR at all times.
— Dr. Cindy Wu
I won't complete a mastopexy now without it.
— Dr. Jason Pozner
Brijjit gives me peace of mind to support the T-site and base of the vertical incision.
— Dr. Gabrielle Miotto
This undoubtedly improved my patients’ lives and my life ... with lower wound complications and improved scarring, my patients are happier, and I have fewer panicked calls and unplanned office visits.
— Dr. Holly Wall
I use Brijits in every brachioplasty and thigh [lift]. They have made a huge step forward in wound management.
— Dr. Herluf Lund
I know it's effective when my nurses are saying 'Wow - those Brijjits are amazing, we love them!' They see the scars and recognize the difference, so they're all on board too. Implementing Brijjit into our practice has been seamless.
— Dr. Ashley Gordon
We've been using it on most of our breast reductions and lifts lately and it certainly has decreased the amount of breakdown at the T junction where everything comes together.
— Dr. Kristi Hustak
My patients like it because they feel it protects their incision. Some of my patients call it their plastic surgery armor.
