The Next Leap Forward in Wound Closure

BRIJ-SEAL will be built on Brijjit technology and designed to address an unmet need in surgical healing—starting with one of the most overlooked challenges: avoiding allergic reactions while effectively sealing the wound.

This single-use, sterile wound closure device will be intended to allow surgeons to seal, cover, and protect post-operative incisions.

This product is currently in development and is not yet registered with the FDA or available for commercial sale.  We are targeting a launch in Q2 of 2026.

It will be designed to be hypoallergenic, waterproof, breathable, and flexible.

BRIJ-SEAL will be designed to incorporate the same proprietary patient contact dressing technology that has been used in over 40,000 procedures with BRIJ Medical’s Brijjit devices.

Our proprietary manufacturing process and materials will be designed to work synergistically to create a unique dressing that transports moisture away from the wound, maintains a strong yet gentle bond to the skin, and remains impermeable to liquids and microbes. This will be designed to enable superior patient comfort, protection, and conformability—supporting a smooth return to everyday life.
